'10/10 — Incredible beachfront boutique hotel Maramara Playa was the highlight of our trip to Sayulita. The hotel is literally right on the sand, and our room had floor-to-ceiling windows plus a big private balcony overlooking the beach and sunset - absolutely beautiful. The design is new, modern, and very comfortable. Staff communication was excellent, and their custom town guide was super helpful. 'The room was perfect, and so clean. Great bedding, a nice bathroom and shower, and a private patio. The views were incredible. The staff were kind, friendly and accomodating.'

'The buildings and the rooms in this well maintained resort are the main attraction, the nature and the views are the strongest point. There are several restaurants on the site, however they were cloased most of the time, so the general buffet restaurant was the only option for dinner; and unfortunately is looks rather cheap and the food is rather average (and the house wine is undrinkable). The breakfast restaurant is much nice and has better food. For lunch yo better head to the beach...

'We loved our two weeks here. Clean, new, quiet, lovely rooftop eating and swimming, even if only a small heated pool. The staff are welcoming, helpful and on the ball. The tradeoff is being away from the busy tourist zone in a less expensive place but with all of PV accessible. It was a 12 minute walk from the nearest beach or bus to town, or alternatively. a $7-10 CDN uber ride to any downtown spot or Malecon. Ubers are cheap and comfortable. 'The partial ocean view at this hotel was breathtaking and surpassed the views of other hotels. The spacious, clean, and relaxing rooms were a delight. I particularly enjoyed the rainfall shower and deep soaker tub. It was an unforgettable experience to have breakfast while watching humpback whales. We definitely plan to stay here again. '
