« Excellent établissement pour familles avec enfants! LeYHA est à 2 pas de la plage et tout est organisé dans l hotel pour les jeunes enfants! Il y a des jeux un restaurant et les enfants y mangent gratuitement! Il y aaussi une grande cuisine équippée à la disposition des clients ce qui est tres pratique avec des enfants. »

« Great location for getting around Whitby. Shame about lack of car parking. Shower drain in our room was prone to blocking. Concerned it might flood the downstairs. We did mention it to staff. Overall a pleasant stay. Might be an idea to mention the stairs leading to upper room as less mobile guests may struggle »

« We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again. »

« Very welcoming host, the room had an amazing veiw. Very clean, good variety of tea, coffee and a hot chocolate. The bottle of water in the fridge was a godsend when I got back after a long day. Breakfast was very tasty, full english with a glass of fruit juice and a pot of tea( or coffee). It was so helpful being able to drop my bag off before check in... Which when I arrived I was able to check in early. Also I could leave my bag there when I checked out, meaning I didn't have to lug it around...

« The bedroom & en suite were very tastefully decorated, with the decor exactly to our taste! The Bella Rose coffee shop was used throughout our stay & the staff were very welcoming & accommodating. The 15% discount was used each time we ate there which was a bonus as thought it might be a one-off. Peasholm Park on the doorstep was a huge plus too! My only criticism of our stay was that I made the owners aware that I was allergic to fur & feathers beforehand & I particularly queried any cushions...

« What’s not to love? This place is an absolute gem. The rooms are immaculate, each with its own unique character, and it was so peaceful and relaxing throughout our stay. The staff in the pub couldn’t do enough for us, proper old-fashioned customer service at its best. Everyone we spoke to was genuinely friendly, welcoming and happy to help. The food was exceptional. « Beautiful location and friendly host and staff who did everything to make our stay a memorable experience. As we and other guests were visiting the Teddy Swims event in Scarborough the host played his video in the lounge and waited for everyone to return after the event. Property is dated but as the saying goes “if it works don’t fix it.” »

« Chambre exiguë, à se demander si ce n'était pas une chambre de bonne reconvertie (3 m de large sur 4 m de long), eau bouillante pour la douche à 2 reprises (2 matinées de suite) : merci pour les migraines de la journée ! « For the cost of the room I expected more modern decor and room facilities. Very basic bath/shower combo, basic tea making facilities and dated decor/room furniture. The view from the room was fantastic but the view alone shouldn’t warrant such high prices. »
