« We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). « gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps. »

« Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough...

« Perfect place for our weekend getaway. Smooth check in, accommodations were clean and cozy. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus. Highly recommend! Communication from the host was top notch! Got to meet the host as well! There is also a beautiful spa right next door! Plus, the friendly neighborhood cat came to say hello. Would definitely stay again! »
