« This Fairfield Inn is superb for the cyclist travelling the GAP Trail and/or C&O Canal Trail. The hotel is literally right next to the trail, has a bike fix station outside, has a hose to wash a dirty bike, has two washer/dryers available, and has some bike parking in the hotel (or you can put bike in your room). Great staff. I felt very welcome at this particular hotel. »

« We booked this property with the event of the polar express planned on Saturday. We checked in Friday night and the house was wonderful. I really enjoyed the journal that was left to write notes about guests stay. I thought there would be a lot more to do in town but we couldn’t find much of anything of interest at the time, so we ended up leaving early Saturday evening. »

« Stayed for one night and the hotel felt very clean. Didn't have that strange hotel odor that some places have. The staff was friendly. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We arrived later in the evening, so it was nice that the pool was open till 11pm. I was happy with the room and would stay here again. »

« Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed! »

« The only thing I could negatively critique is the carpets as we’re a bit elderly with slight musty odor. Almost like there had been smokers in the room at some earlier time. The bathroom fan was quite noisy. It needs replacing too. But otherwise,the bed was comfortable, tv worked ,bathroom was clean with everything necessary and the room was quiet. The location was convenient. »
