'As we were to visit the Rocky Mountain Rodeo that evening, we booked the Walking Eagle inn and Lodge. A perfect choice. Nice that the bar was in the hotel and we had a good breakfast. 'We had an incredible stay at this property just outside Sundre for our golf trip. The setting alone is worth the visit—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by beautiful Alberta landscape that made it easy to unwind after a full day on the course. The home itself was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a group. Plenty of room to relax, comfortable beds, and a great common area where we could hang out in the evenings. The outdoor space was a highlight too—ideal for morning coffee or a drink...

'The restaurant/pub was closed for supper but open for breakfast. The biggest issue was the air conditioner/heater which sounded like a jet taking off.'
