'If you are going to Mackinaw City, you really should stay on the beach. The Hamilton Inn was affordable, clean and best of all, right on the beach. There was also an indoor pool in case of bad weather, but we did not use it. Breakfast of scrambled eggs and waffles was available. It was hot and delicious. I did wish there were amenities like a lounge or restaurant, but there were lounges within a 3 block radius that were walkable, even for us senior citizens. '

'The only negative experience was some of the complimentary breakfast items were already gone by 9am, like the biscuits for the gravy, and the cream cheese for the assortment of bagels '

'We booked a King suite here last minute before heading up for the Labor Day bridge walk. I hadn’t read any reviews or anything, just needed to book something and hoped for the best. Needless to say we were absolutely amazed by everything at this hotel! 'Very clean with a lot of admenities (pool, fire pit, shuffle board). Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Definitely check out “Johnnies on the 2” for dinner, especially their fried mushrooms, salads, and corn beef & cabbage. We would stay here again.'
