« Loved the Black Walnut Inn. I would love to go back. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast is delicious. A very generous spread. Self-serve tea and coffee is available at all times in the dining room area. There are also treats one can help oneself too. Chocolate chip cookies our first day and molasses cookies the second. Meghan bakes the best cookies. Seriously, the best. The owners are very warm. If we visit Amherst again, staying here would be our first choice. Thank you. »

« We did not want for anything! The house is full of historic charm. Even when the temperature was -11, it was warm inside. New windows eliminated any drafts I was concerned about when booking the house. Scott is so accommodating. He brought us farm fresh duck eggs to make for breakfast. « Cozy and comfortable cabin with plentiful natural light. About a 10 minute drive from Berkshire East Mountain resort which provided a fun day of family skiing. Generous and thoughtful host; a good bit of snow fell on one of our days, and he let us know where to park to avoid having to move our car for the plow, which made it easy to get in and out. Looking forward to staying there in the summer. »
