'Checkin was very straightforward. Room was air conditioned, had a mini fridge and microwave, which were both useful. Smelled like cigarettes, especially in the bathroom. Floors were dirty, especially under the bed there was a lot of debris (mostly food) Overall a good room for what I needed but the cleanliness had room for improvement'

'De foto's zijn prachtig doch de acco is oud met vies tapijt. Geen balkon en geen lift. Heel vriendelijk personeel, acco midden in plaatsje met slijterij ernaast waar dus allemaal dronken mensen bij elkaar komen. We voelden ons door de foto's enorm misleid. '

'When I booked in early spring, the Expedia listing said it was a Standard 1 Bedroom Suite with a pullout couch in the living room. Days before arriving, I was told it was actually a Studio Suite (no bedroom, just one open space). I was really upset because the listing had been untruthful - I would have never booked a Studio Suite for 4 people. I reached out to the owner, who acknowledged the error, but couldn’t offer an alternative because they were fully booked. She did offer a larger suite...

'Quiet place, plenty of parking space. Room was nice, excellent bed and bedding, bathroom nice as well. Quick text respons if there were questions. I missed in the first text my room number (which was there, just didn’t see it), therefore had to text again. Only weird thing (not bad !) was the huge TV with only the possibilities of your own accounts with the various streaming services. My room had the possibility for 1 streaming service without having to login myself, because a previous guest...

'My wife and I have stayed at the Cottage and Castle once before and have both times been extremely satisfied with the friendliness and helpfulness of Christina (the host) Whatever questions we have had to ask, we get immediate assistance! Our room was incredibly clean and organized, the beds were comfortable and the style was very intricate. Absolutely no problems and no negative feedback to give! Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will soon be coming back!'
