'Dit is echt een budgethotel en dat merk je. Wel redelijk schoon, maar de inrichting van de kamers is echt achterhaald. Er hing een raar geurtje in de kamer en er zaten roestplekken in het bad. Om gebruik te maken van wi-fi, moet je een account aanmaken bij de provider. Daarna werkt het vervolgens wel prima. Het bed vond ik persoonlijk iets te zacht. 's Nachts is het brandalarm afgegaan, daarna heb ik niet echt meer een oog dichtgedaan. De ontvangst was prima, en het in- en uitchecken...

'Spotlessly clean rooms/ hotel , but noisy Aircon meant I didn't sleep well , even when switched off the fans still active. Breakfast included was fine , the check in staff on Arrival where terrible, unhelpful and argumentative and almost had me paying again for a room id already paid for.'

'I have never stayed here before but it looked perfect for my stay which was two nights to visit family. I had travelled from london. The hotel was everything as it said it was. The hosts were even better. As I was to find later working as a family team is how this hotel is run. It works wonderfully well in such a fabulous house and grounds. I'm certainly gong back and this time I'll stay longer and explore the beautiul countryside too. Top marks to the Saddleworth Hotel for me.'

'It was a very peaceful spot set back from the road. The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. The cottage was very secluded, clean and well equipped with a very detailed guide available to both the facilities and places to go in the area. Comfy bed, great shower, cosy lounge. 'The property was fantastic the only thing it missed was a fan or air conditioning but then again we live in England where its usually cold and wet so I shouldn't expect there to be any of those things. The only other issue was with sykes cottages themselves, the listing says pay at the property but sykes cottages took the money instantly and then was extremely unhelpful as were hotels.com in my opinion I would bypass both of these and book direct with dovestone holiday park'
