'Complicated review - night time the front desk girl was awesome. Thank you! The morning person, I think there’s a humanity that is sadly, going away. No one was at the hotel but me and a few cars and I needed a little more time to work. Policy is let’s get as much money as possible, kindness would have noticed the slow middle of the week day and said ‘no problem! To an extra 30 minutes to an hour in the room. I would have tipped the cleaners for the kindness. Leaving at noon is not uncommon and...

'I would stay here again. On site sauna and gym open til 10pm, gym is small but clean. They also have an on-site restaurant thats extra but breakfast was fresh and quality was excellent. One mile walk into downtown Truckee and 0.5 mile walk to nearest plaza that has a decent Thai and wine restaurant. Short 20 mins drive from Palisades if there's no traffic.'

'This was a nice place to spend the night. Very nice breakfast, better than most. Comfy beds and everything worked as expected. Staff was very helpful checking in and for breakfast'

'Parking is kind of far but ok. Staff was very friendly too bad due to new management they’re kind of forced to leave but anyways it is what it is.'

'The property is very different from the pictures,, it is a motel by the high way, could not sleep well with the traffic noises, and there were bugs in the room, woke up mid of the night with a bug on my face.'

'I was not aware that none of the amenities were gonna be open. None of the shops or restaurants or anything was open in the village the entire time of our stay. That is probably my fault for assuming and not checking. Every single thing in the village was closed other than the hotel. The reason why we went there was because we thought we were gonna be close to several things and not have to travel very far. Other than that, the room was great. Everything was very clean and well kept.'

'I ordered a non smoking room. What I was given was a room that smelled like it was heavily smoked in for years! With no other rooms available we had to stay. I will not book this property ever again!'

'This is a truck stop motel. It was noisy, lots of truckers smoking and drinking outside on the premises. Had my family including a 5 year old and it just fell unsafe. Not recommended for family'
