« The bed was comfy. Significant road noise. The staff I interacted with were friendly but I keep the do not disturb sign up for the duration of my stay. The room was clean but dated. Obvious holes were the shower rod had been moved but not patched. Water damage to the drywall around the top of the shower that had been painted over. « I feel that the Local punches above it's weight, the room was comfortable and spacious. The free breakfast was a disappointment. We enjoyed the large windows that room #211 provided us. It was a great view of the world of Leavenworth. The train whistle was charming to hear. The staff was gracious. We are certain to return. »

« We picked this location because it was so close to university of Kansas and it was only three minutes away. The employee at the front door was a great representative of the area. Very friendly, nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. We didn’t swim, but it was a nice area. We used the gym and there was a lot of good equipment. Typical but good continental breakfast. If my child goes to this college, we will definitely be staying here again. »
