'We had no idea just how wonderful this area and hotel could be! The beauty of the waterway, the wonder of the dolphins and the peaceful quality of the hotel, we loved every minute we were there. The walkways around the water, the dolphins swimming - it was all wonderful. The Shem Creek staff were all friendly and helpful and made our stay great. I found Shem Creek from reading novels about the area and am so happy we decided to visit!'

'Check in staff was not clear with directions. The request for additional towels was not followed. We received multiple large drying towels and no hand towels. The room was clean and the location to the beach excellent.'

Our room when you’d open the door was a view of the ac unit for the lobby area. Had a view of the ocean but it came with a view to the outside restaurants roof. 'The staff was excellent! They were some of the best we have ever dealt with. The room was good, not great and there were some areas that needed cleaning that we did ourselves, the bed was aweful. It had a dip in the middle and my wife and I both felt as though we never got a good night sleep. The kitchen seemed to have all a person needednif tou were inclined to eat in, which we didn't.
