We were happy when we first arrived, though after 20 mins the electricity shut off, for 2,5 hours, in dark with kids, the team did respond real fast and the tech came by to fix the emergency light that didn’t work. Positives: - The view is very nice - the grounds are greener than on the pics - the house is quite large and rooms have good bathrooms, but villa 8 second bedroom is separate, weird! - the furnishing is nice wood, well...

'We stayed 2 nights in Iguana Lodge, one before and one after our 3 day jungle trek through Corcovado NP. Perfect place to prepare and recover for a tough hike. Splendid contemporary rooms with ocean views, friendly staff and great food in the restaurant. Breakfast was a little basic. '

'Staff is great. Family-style breakfasts and dinners were wonderful. Rooms/casitas are nice, hotel overall is lovely. Location is good and bad. Great proximity to isolated beach. Road to the hotel is very slow, bumpy, and pothole-ridden. 4x4 highly recommended and the road wil add 20 minutes a each way to your trip in and out of the hotel, so plan accordingly. '
