'We loved our time at Reeds Bay Hotel. We got an ocean view which helped to keep it comfortable at night considering there is no air conditioning, as most in Hawaii do not have or use air conditioning. We slept well and the staff were all very warm and welcoming. Banyan Drive is beautiful and places you close to all things you would want to do and see in Hilo.'

'We didn't get a chance to try the hot tub but the grounds are beautiful and all staff at lodge and restaurant were kind and helpful. Food was delicious and proximity to Kilauea volcano sights was super convenient. Hope to come back again soon!'

'Nice big room. A bit eclectic i, but very clean and comfortable. Although there is no A/C it was cool enough at night that it wasn't necessary as long as there was a fan blowing. Still, It felt quite humid and towels, etc did not dry out. It was very nice to have a good coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave, plus a couple place settings with metal utensils. Everything seemed relatively recently updated. The bathroom was nice and big. Overall a great experience and would be happy to...
