'Great central location'

'Would have loved to have more time to stay at the property and enjoy the lake - it was beautiful! The house itself was fine - my friend described it as a giant shed. But there needs to be pillow protectors on the pillows - it sucks when you're a non-smoker, haven't brought your own pillows from home, put your head down late at night to finally go to sleep and get the stench of cigarette smoke. I don't believe anyone had been smoking inside but I do believe smokers had rented the property before...

'Ive been a avid traveler for 40 years and I have not once left a negative review. I pride myself on being positive and reasonable and it actually breaks my heart to be force into the position to even write this. Im going to be as honest and fair as possible. PROS: Before I arrived the owner comminicated quickly and was pleasant. The location of the cabin is excellent,,, right near route 1 in the greater Boothbay area. 'Spacious cottage (in a resort full of cottages) nicely located to visit Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset and a day trip to the Portland coast. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc to make it easy to cook. Large table for family game nights. Great beds! The front porch and lawn were better for hanging outside. The back patio area is small and needs cleanup but we did not need it. '

'The cabin overlooked Route 1. The heat pump was noisy. The cabin was smaller than expected. The shower needs to be updated. The bed was very comfortable. '
