'With a party of two Dutch family's of four adults and four children between seven and fourteen years old we stayed at the ranch for two days. The house was not clean, a number of doors wouldn't close anymore. We were even afraid to cook our own meal because of the kitchen cleanness . The kids liked the horses though. The homeowner was mostly friendly. Only upside was the price, it was low and therefore we didn't have very high expectations.'

'Oaks Retreat was the perfect location for our stay outside of Yosemite National Park. In addition to spending full days in the park, we explored Bear Valley, Coulterville and the surrounding area. Highly recommend the area.The house was clean and comfortable, with "nice to have" items in the house: electronic chargers, reference materials for local establishments and places to explore. '

'The Finegold Nugget provided delightful, well-appointed accomodations (more than expected, with the assortment of dishes and flatware also provided). Beautiful room and beautiful grounds. We had a very relaxing weekend, which was the goal! If I had any complaint, it might be that the mini-fridge in the room was more mini than I was expecting. We filled it up! And as a suggestion, possibly get some mini ice trays to put in the freezer so the guests could have ice available if they wished. ...

'We had a fantastic stay here. The house was very spacious and had all the utilities we needed. The house is very clean and well kept and our host was helpful and easy to communicate with. We were able to access Yosemite easily from the house as well. The house was also close to restaurants and the supermarket in Groveland. I would definitely stay here again!'
