« From the start, I knew this was not a another mondain, casual experience. The historical charm, quaint decor and extremely manicured property became soothing and transcended us back in time. Just WOW! The online pictures are accurate but the experiencing the history and beauty of this mansion is amazing. »

« Truly one of the nicest places we have stayed! Perfect for a couple wanting a lovely relaxing holiday. We rode mountain bikes daily at nearby Bent Creek. Enjoyed wonderful microbrews in Asheville and relaxed daily in the hot tub. Our hosts were so thoughtful and made the stay so nice. The cabin is clean, private and well situated. The view from the porch is worth the stay! A place we hope to visit again. »

« We stay here every year because it is so amazing. Veda and Bill and so accommodating and the Inn is so beautiful. Breakfast is an added bonus because it is always amazing as well. The Inn is also so close to the beach, restaurants and anything you would want to do. »

« While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. It is quite a unique and peaceful accommodation in Robbinsville, NC, 30 min from the city accessible through a beautiful winding road while being very close to scenic roads and scenery like the Dragon’s tail road. « Nice cozy stay with the right amount of amenities and just a short distance away from everything. Lovely beachy cottage feel that warm and inviting. Ten out of ten would recommend!! »

« Very nice cabin in a gorgeous location, right on the river as stated. There are a few catch on the fly surf waves right in front of the river view deck so for paddlers, this is an amazing bonus! The place is wonderful. Only thing missing is laundry but thats not a big deal. WiFi works well if needed. Highly reccomend and Id stay again for sure. »

« Greg was a great host. The property itself is very nice even being a guest house. There is a pond, barn with horses, chicken and goats. A garden that has lights at night with is very romantic. There is also a pool on the property that faces the Yadkin River. Thank you Greg for being such a good host and having such an awesome property. One of the best places I’ve stayed while traveling! 10 out of 10! »
