« Octopus Oasis was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group. The two kitchens were a huge plus and made everything so convenient. Kym, the property manager, was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and great to work with. Everything was well-maintained, and we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend! »

« The property is a bit dated but the staff and the friendly gentleman that prepares the breakfasts make up for it! The dock leading to a gazebo with the hammock swing was my favorite feature. The Sound catches beautiful sunsets and that spot was perfect to watch it. The light house and historic bath house can be seen there as well. My stay was short- but I plan to go back! »

« This was the perfect place for us! We did a lot of fishing and crabbing from the dock. OBX beaches are less than a mile away. The host is very responsive. Great neighbor kitty who loved to visit with us. (And his mom was very nice and chatty too!) »

« The 2 bedroom condo was neat, tidy, and clean. All mentioned items were on counter when entered (paper towels, garbage bags, etc). Parking was easy. I wasn't sure about a unit in the back but found it easy to access and secluded and quiet. Road noise is minimal and do not hear once in condo. Walk to beach is 2 blocks. The path is not well marked but is clear. Beach items are kept in outdoor shower. This was displeasing because items are rusty and full of tree debris. I did take one chair to use...
