Cottages in Kitty Hawk

'I first saw the Foxhole #3 on previous visits to Kitty Hawk with friends. As we passed by the house, I would often say that it looked like a great place to stay at the beach. Years later, I have now stayed there and I was not wrong. It was great! Cozy, quiet and you can't get closer to the beach. I counted 100 steps from the back step to water's edge.'

'My spouse and I needed a little separation from all the life's influences. This place fit the bill perfectly. Right across from the beach so we could hear the water. The ease of access to said beach couldn't have been better. Already have 2 more planned.'

'This was a wonderful place to just relax, within walking distance of the beach. My family and I loved sitting on the deck, feeling the breeze, and watching the golfers on the green. I highly recommend this place! It was a fantastic stay! '

'Overall, it’s a great location, literally across the street from the beach, and it’s nice for a long weekend. The house itself is older and there’s no outdoor light to sit out on the porch, which was disappointing because it was hard to see out there at night. Secondly, there were lots of thorns from bushes on the rugs and dust when we arrived, which we took care of.'

'Taylor’s house is in such a great location at end of cul de sac. communication was always quick and accurate. such a special experience being able to take pets with us. great access to wonderful beach, yet home feels like you are in your own private retreat. '

'Great property- had everything we needed. Close to downtown Duck, yet far enough away where we weren’t in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Easy access to Corolla and points South. Located on a private street with access to the beach, a quick 5 minute walk. The pool was a great escape when we needed a break from the hot sand. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could need!'

'The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with...

'Dog friendly 4 bedroom 2 bath house. Outdoor stairs easier for some to get to second floor. The spiral staircase inside is not ideal for people who may have mobility issues. Comfortable temperature control. W/D in good working condition. Limited cooking utensils. May want to bring favorite pots/pans if you’re planning on meal prep. We all felt very comfortable staying there and the location is tops!! Centrally located and close to beaches, shops, restaurants , etc. Two very friendly cats live...
