Blokhutten in Beech Mountain

'Such a cute and cozy cottage near Beech Mountain! It was the perfect get-away for hubby, pup and I to escape the Charlotte heat. Loved hanging out on the balcony! Plenty of hiking and food options nearby! Or grab some groceries at the deli in town. We appreciated having some basic kitchen supplies like foil, oil, salt and pepper. The coffee bar was also a nice touch!'

'We had a wonderful time! The house was just perfect with a cozy living area to all be together in front of the fireplace. The 3 bedrooms and bathrooms were a great space for us all to be spread out. Owner was awesome with quick reply’s.'

'We came up to celebrate a birthday, relax, and enjoy some time away. We did everything we set out to do. We made S'mores, the adults played cards upstairs, and the kids played tag outside. The downstairs area was great-- our kids designed bracelets and had enough room for all their little arts, crafts, and gaming. Great place for a larger group.Loves: Two kitchens-- we all make meals and we had enough room to store them! All the variety of juices, waters, etc.. Two fridges to keep us stocked and...

'The Read Retreat was a perfect little cabin with all the “essentials!” It is “UP” the mountain on a few twisty roads but, it’s not a bad drive at all and is in a good location to surrounding areas. We had lots of deer sightings and one black bear as well! I would highly recommend the Read Retreat!'
