'This lodge is so comfortable, clean and renovated. The owners have provided everything that other hotels do not such as wine glasses and corkscrew, full length mirror and magnified mirror, overhead shower that’s also a jet spray, small refrigerator, and access to kitchen with homemade cookies, tea, coffee and candy. The grounds are charming with lots of spices for just relaxing. Our bed was very comfortable and room renovated and very clean. '

'Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. '

'We had a wonderful stay! The bedrooms were perfect and lots of bathrooms! My kids loved the house and the rocks and water in the back and walking around the property. It was an easy drive to all the Asheville attractions. For those with a wheelchair, we found the house to be perfect. There is a ramp into the house and none of the doorways have thresholds. My sister, in a power wheelchair, could easily get in the house and out to the back porch. Her bedroom was large to accommodate her chair and...

'Awesome wedding weekend'

'My husband and I have a large family…4 kids, 3 in-law kids and 5 grandchildren…14 in all. It’s hard for all of us to find time to get together. This house was perfect! Every family unit had their own room, 3 full bathrooms, plenty of space to spread out throughout house. It did not feel crowded at all with that many people. The resort also had plenty of amenities to choose from…pools, miniature golf, golf and outdoor family areas to name a few. Our home’s host was great! Answered any questions...

'Beautiful, peaceful setting away from it all. Great for golfers & equestrians. Has a nice restaurant & bar on the premises (not open every day). Very good food and nice view overlooking the pond. About 1/2 hour drive from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock & Tryon. Friendly, helpful staff!'

'This property was outstanding! We loved everything about it! It is such a unique home....very spacious, with great flow for both together time & private get-away-from -it-all "me" time, both indoors & out. 'overall stay was amazing, drive up to property was a bit nerving. Thankful my Toyota 4Runner had 4 wheel drive to handle the steep 2.5 mile up to the property. I feel this should have been mentioned in the property description before reservation confirmation.'
