« This was a clean and cozy little cabin! It was very small. Had we not had all the extras required for attending a wedding it would have been perfect. We found it a little crowded but once the wedding was over and the fancy clothes and steamer etc were packed away it was sufficient. The two rockers on the deck were super comfortable but the inside seating, not so much. It was nice and quiet. The cabin is super close to the caretakers residence but we never saw or heard them. « Overall the house was awesome. Very comfortable and great location. All the necessary kitchen utensils. Would definitely come back. Be aware, during cold temps the water pipes may freeze.They dispatched the handyman immediately to fix the problem. The host was very gracious and offered compensation for the inconvenience. Very responsive and helpful despite a tough situation. I suspect they will add insulation to avoid issues in the future »

« My buddy and I get our families together every few years. We decided to try out Lake Lure this year. The Lake Lure Oasis in the Woods was the perfect place! We had 11 guests to include 4 adults and 7 kids from 3 to 16 years of age. Chris’ place was plenty spacious for us and very clean. Chris was very responsive.
