'Get place to go and be tucked away. With still being close enough for things to do. The property was great for pets. All fenced in. It does need some major tlc. The shower heads in both bathrooms were very unstable and hard to function. The back outdoor sitting area didn’t have any screens and the door was broken along with the roof. 'My buddy and I get our families together every few years. We decided to try out Lake Lure this year. The Lake Lure Oasis in the Woods was the perfect place! We had 11 guests to include 4 adults and 7 kids from 3 to 16 years of age. Chris’ place was plenty spacious for us and very clean. Chris was very responsive. 'We loved our stay in this perfect treehouse! The accommodations were clean and inviting, with lots of thoughtful touches tucked throughout the property (I won’t give them away here!). The hosts were wonderful, friendly, and made communication a breeze. Location is great, and will only continue to improve as Chimney Rock continues to rebuild from Helene.
