'We love staying in sapphire and having access to the recreation center. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The condo is outdated however, you can't beat the price, size and amenities. Close to Gorge state park, cashiers and the kids and adults all love the recreation center.'

'Waterside Resort is an excellent choice for your stay to the Edenton area. Great location on the Albemarle Sound. Very clean and spacious condo. Fully equipped kitchen and lovely view from our unit. We enjoyed every evening with a cocktail at the fire pit to watch the sunset. Very friendly staff. We will return.'

'Overall it’s just ok. Instructions are a bit iffy. Like taking the trash out gave special instruction but I checked out on Sunday and it said not to put the trash inside the container until the morning it is picked up which is Monday??? Says to bring it to an offsite place if not on a pick up day but it’s closed on Sunday??? Like I said it was OK the place was clean just really dated and there was a lot of outside noise that can be heard. The price was good so I would stay again. I will say the...

'Very nice stay in Southport. The location is great. There are some really good restaurants, shopping looked ample, and getting around to various sites was easy. Everyone in Southport was so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was very comfortable and big. Loved having two bathrooms. We didn't spend much time at the property, but overall our stay was very nice. We did not cook, but it looked like the kitchen is well stocked. The only coffee maker is a Keurig, so bring pods or go to the coffee...
