'The Red Tail Nest is an amazing property and one of the nicest properties at which we have stayed. Check in was super easy and the host (Mary) had everything set up for us. The views of Boone and the surrounding areas are amazing! The property is even nicer in person than the pictures show! Everything was super clean and very well organized. Great location with easy access to Grandfather Mountain, Boone, and Linville Falls. Overall, we had an excellent time and hope to return again soon!'

'Everything was as described. Great value with a beautiful view. It is quite a climb to the condo so be ready to take quite a few flights of steep stairs. Other than that it has everything we needed for a weekend of hiking. WiFi worked well. The deer grazing around the property were a neat experience. '

'Beautiful condo and close to everything. We were able to walk to all of the shops, restaurants, etc that Downtown Blowing Rock has to offer. The property is clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend! '

'Easy access, felt like home upon entry. Beautiful decor. Furniture was comfortable. Very close to pool access. Steam and sauna at the pool. All the other guest and residents we met were very friendly. Saw many deer that came within 10 ft of us. I will definitely return. I was able to unwind and get some R&R. My only regret is it was too short of a trip. '

'Great place to stay and play in the snow (sugar mountain slopes right near by). Parking is a challenge but other than that it’s amazing. Has a little bit of the shining vibes when it snows and you feel like if the roads closed and you were stuck anything could happen. We had a blast. Thanks'

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
