'Soon as I walked through the front door, I knew I'd be back! This is a magical place: clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. Communication with host was excellent, and the view and beach were absolutely magical!'

'Wonderful home and renovated kitchen! Great space to enjoy the patio and access to the waterfront. We took out the kayaks out and enjoyed the waterfront access point. Dog friendly yard and patio which was great for our 2 older dogs who enjoyed the fully fenced in outdoor space. The stairs to the attic/loft was a bit of a challenge to get up/down and so may not be as accessible for older guests or young children.'

'Margo is a lovely host, unobtrusive but available for anything we needed. The house was very clean and consistent with the description and pictures. We really enjoyed using the kayaks!'

'The house was very well equipped and spotless on arrival. We enjoyed our stay very much and had a chance to use the kayaks provided for a paddle where we saw seals, eagles, and a salmon leaping out of the water. Great communication before during and after our stay. Easy check in and check out process. When we visit the area again we will check availability of this place first! '

'We stayed here last August and we had a blast. The view is awesome, the oysters were fab. The house is small but was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Just perfect. Highly recommend the Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, few miles up north. We hope to visit again!'

The landlady is very kind and helpful. We’d love to come back again, if only the journey from Germany weren’t so long.'

If you are staying on a weekday, note that there is construction next to the property.'

'Good communication with the property owner. Cabin was older but cute with plenty of sleeping options. Washer and dryer were great to have. They had plenty of supplies for us (extra garbage bags, soap etc) and AC in every room which was nice. The maps to get to the private lake access were hard to understand and the one that did pull up is closed right now due to the fire. There is also only one parking pass for the lake access and too many of us to fit in one car. We chose to just go to the...

'POSITIVES: The interior has been updated so it’s clean and modern, with ample natural light. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was spacious. We were a family of three couples, and there was plenty of space for everyone, making this house a good option for us. The massage chair was a huge hit! CONS: Farther to Seattle than expected (our bad!) The exterior is not inviting. Our Uber driver thought we’d arrived at an abandoned house & insisted we made sure we had access before he left us....
