« Place was nice and very clean. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we booked a “superior” view room and got an awkward corner room with a balcony right next to another room’s. The room was massive, but we more-so cared about the view, which we didn’t really get much of. Very strange given the photos in the listing suggested a nicer look at the river. »

« The property is beautiful and conveniently located close to The beach with easy access. We rented bikes from the hotel and the island bike trail Is right off the property . We spent alot of the time at the pool and there were ample chairs and umbrellas and the foliage around the pool takes the experience to a higher level Chairs are located outside the rooms and we sat outside with coffee in the morning and there was never sun beating down on us »

« The property itself is very lovely and rich with history. It was peaceful to walk around and observe the beautiful oak trees. My room however had carpet with stains everywhere. I was surprised for the cost of the room that the carpet looked really dirty. »
