« A beautiful location! It was lovely to sit and enjoy the view, whatever the weather. We also enjoyed exploring and walking in the local area. Communication and check-in were simple and the property matched the description. In fact, living areas were larger than I expected and we wished we’d invited another couple to join us (we only used one bedroom). »

« Great location and spacious well equipped house. Large garden and deck for enjoying the sunshine when not out exploring the National Park trails. Views of the valley from bedrooms, kitchen and lounge room. Early check-in and late checkout was much appreciated. Didn't use the fireplace as the air-conditioning kept the house warm but on really cold winter stays it would be a great asset. »

« Property was lovely, very clean & well appointed. Jill was easy to contact & very helpful. Very nice touch was home made Hedgehog slice for us & a lovely bowl of lemons. Location is good, just down the road from the tea rooms. Very peaceful & would highly recommend it. »

« A beautifully situated property, extremely well appointed. We were very satisfied with everything; there is generous space, suitable for diverse groups, and we were able to gather and separate very easily.There is a very pleasant walk that can be accessed via the rear gate and takes you around the lake. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Lavender House - it's very convenient, only a 10-15 minute walk into Katoomba but also on the quieter side and away from the Easter crowds. The cottage is lovely and quiet - we'd love to go back in Winter and use the fire! »

« My friends and I had a great time at the cottage. It's very well equipped, with a wonderful peaceful garden. The interiors are very homey and has everything you need for a stay in the Blue Mountains.Only downside is that there is not a lot of parking on the property, and off street parking is a little tricky. There was also some broken glass on the carpet in the dining room when we arrived but it was easy enough to clean up. »

« We absolutely loved our stay. The property is unique with its wood panelling and comfy nooks throughout, but its real selling points were the breathtaking views from every window. We appreciated the little touches too like the chocolate biscuits in the fridge and bottle od wine ledt for us. Would highly recommend. »

« We spent a fe ays in the Blue Mountains in the winter. The property was in a fantastic location and was lovely and warm. It was very clean and felt like a more traditional family home than a holiday rental, which is just what we wanted. I would highly recommend! »
