Garden of the Stars Studio Katoomba

This luxury air conditioned 3 room studio offers a cosy intimate couples’ retreat in a highly sought after location on the Katoomba escarpment.

Your studio is situated on the ground floor to the side of the main house with it’s own private self checkin lockbox. The entrance is secured by a brown gate and a white brick wall for your privacy.

Your studio sleeps 2 guests and consists of a spacious and stylish, double bedroom with a comfortable King bed, electric blankets, loungeroom and a bathroom with shower. A reverse cycle airconditioner.
The loungeroom has a sofabed for guests who want to sleep separately.

The Kitchenette only offers very basic cooking with electric frypan or choose to cook on the electric bbq in your private courtyard for alfresco dining.

Your private courtyard includes an outdoor table and chairs, a 2 seater lounge and 2 sunlounges to take in the view.

No view from inside the studio as the studio is located on the side of the main house.

I can’t stress how amazing our stay was at Garden of the stars studio apartment. Dalia and Joss were both exceptionally accommodating and great with communication. They really did make our stay. We stayed in the grounds of the apartment the whole time as there was no need to leave. We sat and had breakfast taking in the views and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks you again Joss and Dalia for being the best hosts and providing the best experiance, we will definitely be back! Thank you. Misha xx

Great location

The location is perfect to explore the actives in all of the Blue Mountains. The space is perfect for one or a couple. The cooking facility is quirky but perfect for breakfast and dinner, especially if you use the BBQ and patio. I love the convenience and the host has thought of everything. a few hundred meters to the Three Sisters lookout, close to shopping and access to roads, so getting there from Sydney is a breeze and short drive to wonder hiking in all parts of the Blue Mountains.

Memorable property with incredible views

This property is amazing, in a great location with views you wish for in a mountain stay. The Garden of the stars studio was bigger and more modern than I thought, the photos don't do it justice. If you're after a stay with a view then this is it! The garden is a delight to wander through, with benches and a lovely Gazebo to sit and linger, soaking up the birdsong and the views. Joss very kindly organised a parking permit for the car and explained everything we needed during our stay to make it one we will cherish. There's a BBQ, and everything you need plus all the sweet little touches in every room, we were there in chilly June but it was warm and cosy inside. We loved it, had a great time, and will come back for a summer stay. We highly recommend the Garden of the stars studio.

Fantastic view!!!

The view is absolutely stunning and the patio area is fantastic! We were only there for 3 nights, and one day was all fogged in but even that day the patio was so restful. The garden is beautiful although we didn't really have time to really enjoy it. It's a great location for hiking and seeing the views. As someone else mentioned, the inside studio layout is a bit odd with respect to kitchenette and bathroom locations, but overall the studio was private, comfortable and worked well for us. Lots of info and little extras provided. Joss was great at responding to questions and even came out at night to fix the Wi-Fi when it went down. She is an excellent hostess.

As others have said, the location of this property is amazing. Was such a treat to be so close to what the Blue Mountains have to offer. Close to amazing hikes, views, scenic world, even night time walks near by. Of course, the views in the backyard are just breath taking. Must admit, being inside was a stark contrast. A bit odd in the set up (kitchen in the bedroom and bathroom at the other end past the sitting area??!!) but the bed was super comfortable and space in the closet was a plus (as were the robes provided). Many nice touches. Responses to inquiries were super fast and much appreciated. Had a bit of a challenge with the parking, as the free parking is a short walk, and a bit tricky on school days, but it worked once we figured it out with Joss and Dahlia's help. Peaceful walks through the garden and enjoying the canyon views helped make any very minor bits quickly fade away!

Breathtaking views!

The property was clean, comfortable and homey. The views from the porch were amazing and e enjoyed the enchanting garden. The location was literally a 3 minute walk to the 3 sisters lookout point and scenic walks! Dalia was just a phone call away if we needed anything. Highly recommended for a couple or 1 person!

A place to stay and relax.

Thank you Joss and Dalia for taking care of this great place. This was a great experience, just two nights but really looking to going back soon. I can tell enough about Joss and Dalia. They have been there making sure that our stay goes the way we plan, amazing. If you want to have a weekend away from the busy city and want to have a home away from home, this is the place. Two minutes of waking from the 3 sisters, from the nice walks. You have a private garden, calls " Gardens of the Stars" created by Richard Sterling, a famous Australia Astrologer and Television icon. This garden is a Zodiac garden, with lots of different species of plants and trees. The view of the mountains is something that you will remember forever. Please go and enjoy.

Incredible location and views!

Absolutely adored my stay at this property. Loved learning the history of the house and garden, and the view is truly to die for! It's a super convenient location as well, only a 30 min walk or a 2 min walk and 5 min bus ride into Katoomba and loved being able to walk down to the Three Sisters every evening. Would highly recommend!

What a view

Peaceful, classy and convenient

Lovely lovely lovely place to stay. The bed was huge, bathroom was clean and kitchen equipped. Only place to sit and eat was outside which made for a lovely dinner with a SPECTACULAR view. Only advice would be to put a table inside so that we can play board games if it rains. :)

Spectacular view from the garden!

I had a great time with my daughter staying at the studio. In the morning I saw the sun rising and at night time I watched the moon rising. It’s such a wonderful location. Owner is very helpful and friendly! Highly recommended for a getaway with family or friends , you will love it!
