Piccolo, a charming miner`s cottage with a unique style, is nestled in a serene bushland setting. Situated on the northern side of the highway in Leura, Piccolo offers a cozy, quaint, and distinctive retreat in the mountains. This historic house, dating back over 110 years and constructed between 1910 and 1920, started its journey as a two-room miner’s cottage. It has preserved its original allure, showcasing timber walls, floors, and solid doors from its early days.

Thoughtfully extended to blend traditional charm with modern conveniences, Piccolo now features a total of four rooms and a bathroom, ensuring a comfortable stay.

A mere 20-minute walk from Leura Mall and a short drive to the splendours of the Blue Mountains, Piccolo positions guests perfectly to explore this Heritage Listed wonderland. The area is renowned for its stunning National Parks, walking tracks, gourmet food, artisan markets, an array of dining options, exquisite gardens, boutique shopping, and a vibrant calendar of events. We have spend many years restoring this 100 year old miner cottage, we have refitted it with all to modern convenances you expect whilst retaining as much of the original character as possible.
