'We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. 'I have taken pictures of all details in this listing, and my main issue with this place is that the condition of the unit, particularly the walls and bathroom were not as clean and pristine as the pictures imply. There are scratches and marks almost on every wall throughout the place, as well as small chips including the closets and bathroom It doesn’t appear the place was painted or repainted recently up to standard. 'We had such a wonderful stay at The Inn at Mary’s Land Farm and would absolutely come back. We came from Southern California and stayed here in between DC and Manhattan while in town for my son’s lacrosse tournament, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip.
