Free breakfast/happy hour snacks were always empty and not refilled after multiple requests. Only good thing was the MTO omelet bar. The chef was very nice and professional. '

When we returned from Kings Island, my son opened our room door without a key card. How long our room and personal property was accessible, I don't know. When I went to the front desk, he immediately came with me to our room and reset the lock with a "watch" on his wrist. They have over 90 security cameras on property, but the fact that our room was not...

'When we arrived at the property, we were notified that they are in the process of revitalizing the hotel, is that ok? We said sure - little did we know. The check in process was smooth. Upon entering the room it was ok at best, old beaten up, bathroom needed a better cleaning, but hey, it was a cheap room. Then we started finding the problems. 'Unfortunately, I became ill on the morning I arrived in Mason. I asked the young man working at front desk if he could check me in early (before 3pm) he worked with staff to get my room ready by 1:30. He was very helpful.'

'Cool historic building with great views of the city. The room was just "ok." Hard floors everywhere in the room that left all of the kid's socks black on the bottom. HVAC in the room was hit or miss. Seemed like it would get a few degrees above where it was set before it would come back on. Made for a hot night with lots of waking up. Lock on the bathroom door was falling out of the wall and did not work. Not much of a restaurant on site. Do not expect to feed kids there.'

'We stayed here for one night, the hotel room was dirty, the carpets are very dirty and the whole place smelt like dirty mop water. Breakfast was supposed to be served until 10am but when we went to breakfast at 9:30am most of the hot food items were empty and when we asked the worker if she was going to come out to replace it with more she said no because they are closing soon. This made no sense!! There was still a half an hour left of breakfast. We heard many others around us say the same...
