« We were visiting grandparents that live close by. The lodge is brand new, very comfortable and much bigger than expected. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and the hot tub was an added bonus that we all enjoyed! We would definitely stay again. »

« Pebbles was the perfect getaway, being able to wake-up, sit up in bed and see the sea and hear the waves was fantastic. We were blessed with warm weather so were able to have a BBQ on the patio whilst admiring the views. We had several walks along the beachfront. Folkstone was just a short walk away. Pebbles is so pretty and had everything we required including binoculars to see the ships in the sea - there is a website where you can see the names and destinations of the ships going past...

« We had a wonderful stay, what a unique place with all conveniences catered for. We spent an evening at the fire pit toasting marshmallows (included in the fire pit package price). The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, I would recommend Truly Kentish Holiday Lets. »

« What a wonderful property Beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The property is very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, fridge with a small freezer, coffee machine toaster, the host provided tea, coffee pods, hot chocolate and snacks. The host had also left bread and milk for our arrival. « A perfect weekend escape pad. Superbly cosy shepherds hut. Absolutely loved the outside kitchen… even though it rained relentlessly on the night of our stay the kitchen and outdoor dining was such fun. Kitchen kit was plentiful and well thought out.. shame it wasn’t fire pit weather! However, we had the best time and look forward to returning before too long.. thank you for a great weekend stay. »

« The most idyllic cosy weekend retreat. We absolutely loved our stay fully immersed in nature with just the sound of birds, rain and the crackling fire in our cosy shepherd’s hut for the weekend. Breakfast in bed was perfect thanks to the supplies Becca kindly left for us. Watching the sunset and moon rise against a sky full of stars each night was also very special. « Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. Whilst not scared, I felt these had been on ceiling and edges for some time. However bed very cosy....

« We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. Having spent months planning it we didn’t know what to do instead. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Le Chateaux was available.
