'There are always a few small things (our cold tap barely worked) but overall, this hotel was brilliant. Staff were friendly, spa was really well appointed and treatments were both very good and reasonably priced. Its location right on the river and in the heart of a tiny but bustling little village is idyllic. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, all the necessary accessories. Highly recommended '

'I had a delightful stay at this B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in this region. The room was pretty, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was top notch as was the service. The owners are a charming couple who are also bilingual in French and English. The property and gardens are absolutely lovely and peaceful. '

'Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, un lieu paisible , bien aménagé. Le plus est la piscine qui nous a permis de passer de bons moments en famille. La propriétaire est très attentionnée. Sa bonne humeur et sa bienveillance apporte beaucoup au séjour. Nous recommandons vivement pour toutes personnes qui souhaitent se ressourcer. Nous avons profité du Puy du fou qui est a proximité. '

'We had a lovely overnight stay en route to the south of France. We arrived quite late as we had been at Puy Du Fou during the day, but communication was easy with the lovely host. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our enormous family suite. Breakfast the following morning was delicious - yogurt, fruit, croissants, brioche, fruit tart and coffee / hot chocolate - perfect to set us up for a long drive. "The room in Fontevraud L'Ermitage was pleasant, it was clean and the beds were good. Perfect for 2 or 3 nights. The room was quite warm in August, there were fans but they made little difference. We also missed having a seat. We were with 4 people, so sometimes we had to wait for each other. Don’t go for the breakfast, the selection is very limited and we found it very disappointing for the price."
