'Even though remodeling was/is ongoing, the rooms and facilities were great, as well as the hosts. Cant wait to see all the remodeling completed.'

'Great breakfast with a fresh fruit salad! Very nicely refurbished rooms to mid-century style. The beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but still verry comfortable. Public area with a nice fire place. All in all a very nice motel!'

'The location is beautiful, and the owners have kept their up the motel feeling of the place with style. The rooms were carefully and thoughtfully furnished, and we enjoyed our little, private screened in porch. We just loved it!'

'The owner was extremely kind and helpful and he was interested in the countries the guests were from. The room was clean and well-kept, the beds comfortable , the decor rustic and authentic. The breakfast was limited (eg no bagels or bread) but a muffin or muesli-bar and a good cup of coffee from the lobby were enough to get started.'

'There brook in the background is great. This place is an old style, but we’re ok with it. This is our second stay. The staff is very nice and does everything to help you. Right off the road, but quiet. Nearby town for food. No elevator for second floor. Again, fine for us. No AC, but you don’t usually need it and rooms have fans. The doors are odd, but all work. Let the water run awhile for a hot shower or washing dishes. Good size fridge and stove. Great access to all things Adirondack. '

'Nice size room with stove top, roomy refridge with plates, glasses, silverware, plus more to cook with! I was very satisfied with my room & beds, table, chairs. It was a little dark as far as lighting, but I had plenty of light where I needed it. The area was very well maintained. I had a little trouble finding the driveway at night, but might be my eyesight.'
