Since parking costs a premium within Lake Placid, this was a major perk. Second, staff was a text away and showed up at our room to walk us to the newly relocated firepit with Adirondack chairs under the starry sky. Would 100% stay here again. Directly next door to Fratelli's pizza and what a great value compared to pricy spots in Lake Placid.'

'The owner was extremely kind and helpful and he was interested in the countries the guests were from. The room was clean and well-kept, the beds comfortable , the decor rustic and authentic. The breakfast was limited (eg no bagels or bread) but a muffin or muesli-bar and a good cup of coffee from the lobby were enough to get started.'

'The view from our room was spectacular. Being able to look out upon Whiteface Mountain and surrounding area from our room was absolutely worth it! The hotel is definately older and could use some modernization however, its cozy and located centrally to everything we wanted to do and see. The amenaties were adequate however the shower definately needed some help. The hot water needed to be turned on for 5-10 minutes before it would even start to get warm, so plan for that.
