'The hotel is a little older, it looks like it is slowly being updated. The mattresses are very old, springs coming out on the corners and very soft, the carpeting looked relatively new. The breakfast was plentiful. If the mattresses were replaced I'd give it a higher rating.'

'The property was in fabulous condition and very clean. The first thing I noticed when walking into my room is how fresh the room smelt. Very clean, updated hotel. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Large variety of food items. In a great location. Within walking distance to restaurants and Walmart. This is a wonderful property at a great price!'

'My family and I stayed for 3 nights, 4 days. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful, the rooms and common areas are immaculate, the amenities are great. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Emporia! Highly recommend.'

'This was such a great escape from the city hustle and bustle. Our hosts were AWESOME. The apartment had everything we needed. The alpacas and the host cocker spaniel were the cherry on top. Most relaxing weekend I've had in a very long time. Take a moment to relax in the hammock while watching the alpacas do their thing. Will most definitely be going back. I recommend this stay to anyone wanting to relax and get back to nature.'
