'Was tweede keer dat ik moest overnachten in Lissabon voor "connecting flight". Dit hotel zit bij het vliegveld (2 minuten lopen), dus geen stress in de ochtend. Ze hebben zelfs een shuttledienst, die je gratis brengt. Schoon, mooie kamer en prima ontbijtbuffet. Absolute aanrader. Andere hotels zijn wellicht iets goedkoper, maar tel daar dan wel de taxikosten bij.....'

'Prima hotel dichtbij ISCTE, waar ik moest zijn voor mijn werk. Goed geisoleerd, want de vliegtuigen die laag overvliegen hoor je nauwelijks. De staf was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, als was het soms wel even wachten op de barman. Op zich was de bar niet druk of gezellig, maar wel prettig om nog even na te praten.'

'Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. In zijn algemeenheid vriendelijk personeel. Goed ontbijt, alleen de koffie heeft een onplezierige bijsmaak. Tijdens ons verblijf was er te weinig parkeerplaats in de parkeergarage en de WiFi in de kamer functioneerde matig. Het was nodig om telkenmale opnieuw in te loggen om verbinding te hebben'

'The first welcome from Bruna wasn't good. It seems she didnt like her job (or our questions). The next day it seems already better and she was then very helpfull.
The wall we looked at from our room was TERRIBLE!! We hoped to sit outside, but that was terrible!
Breakfast was great, supermarket on the otherside, as well a very good sushi bar around the corner!'

'It’s always a pleasure to return to the Pestana Palace. There is always a warm welcome and the concierge and reception staff are excellent. It’s the beginning of the season so the waiting and room service staff aren’t 100% on top of things yet, but overall it’s still a lovely hotel. '

"Kamers zijn mooi en netjes, wel ver lopen naar het centrum maar er zijn genoeg busstoppen in de buurt waarmee je heel de stad kunt bezoeken. Wel waren de kamers erg gehorig, vaak hebben we de buren horen lopen en douchen."

The breakfast had a wide variety and was very good, but the so-called "orange juice" was some sugary concoction that tasted like non-carbonated fanta. Any decent hotel should have freshly squeezed orange juice"
