'The Villa Bella Vista was wonderful! The room was spacious and spotless. There were very few other guests so we had the terrace all to ourselves. The view could not be better; a perfect place to watch the sunset and listen to the busker playing in front of the palace. '

'In Cascais, this is perfectly located. 5 mins walk to the city center for all the restaurants and shops but just around the corner where this is private and quiet. Also had to beat is that this sits across a park on one side, and then a walled fortress in front where the area has been converted to contain some specialty shops within a plaza. The staff are great, the area safe, and the breakfast and pastries were a delight!'

'The property was stunning and impeccably maintained. Its location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to shops, restaurants, the beach, and the marina. The room was both upscale and inviting, with exceptionally comfortable bedding that made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Each morning, breakfast was fresh and thoughtfully prepared, with a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cascais.'
'Quinta Velha’s a gem tucked in Sintra’s hills, about a 10-minute walk from Pena Palace and the village center. It’s a small, upscale B&B on two hectares of forest, with a cool mix of old Portuguese charm and modern touches—think restored 1800s beams paired with sleek furniture. We stayed in one of the six suites, which felt cozy and private, like a boutique hideaway. The place was redone in 2019, so everything’s fresh but still has history.
