'Clean rooms, beautiful pool and bar, security is weird and creepy make sure you get dressed in the bathroom in your hotel room the old bald security guard walked right into my room. Wasn’t even aware they had copies of room keys. Scary!!!! '

'On the pricier side for an old building in my opinion. Sub par continental breakfast. $250 cash deposit needed because I didn’t have my physical credit card with me but I had paid in full through Expedia a few days prior to check in. Was told on the phone that the room needed to be checked before getting deposit back, and the same lady I spoke with on the phone checked me out and didn’t look at the room.. interesting. Staff was nice and room was quiet for a Thursday night. Would probably stay...

'The grounds and the winery here at Hessenland are beautiful. We loved being able to walk around and explore the gardens and lovely seating areas. The outdoor pool was a refreshing treat during this heat wave. The food and drink was fabulous and the staff wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We found the inn itself dated and tired looking. The rooms and sitting areas could use with an update and refresh like the rest of the property has had. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay.'
