'The drain in the shower was partially blocked. Hence the water was not draining . This is a safety hazard. Plse inform the hotel to clean their drains. I had removed the drain cover and it was filthy black. Was not good.'

There was zero compromise, zero willingness to work with me and they even went as far as to tell me that there was no smoke there and no warnings about it, when in fact there were both. 'One of a few beautiful iconic historic resorts left in Ontario. Only 58 rooms and personal touches ... not a huge hotel. Excellent dinner and location. Large pool and great selection of free activities like shuffle board and volley ball. Minor point ... shower curtain needs to be washed to remove mildew smell. Long covered porch with many outside dining tables. Would have been nice if more of this are was used for traditional lounge chairs to relax and read or talk on hot or rainy days.'

'The staff at GBH are amazing . Clovis at check in the restaurant staff ( Brini) all of them made our stay memorable. The grounds offer a feel of seclusion which was lovely. While the rooms were a bit tired it is still one of the best spots in Collingwood ! The people there are amazing.'
