Cottages in Zuidelijk West Virginia

'We had a fantastic time. 2 adults 2 tweens 2 dogs. Dog and kid paradise. The house is older but it got everything you need. Full kitchen with a huge table, which we loved to hang out in. 2 comfortable bedrooms. My older child slept on an inflatable mattress in the living room, he loved having his own space. Great location. Host thought of every little thing you might need, cups, plates, silverware, trash bags, he even left a self care package including lotion, shampoo, shaving cream etc. the...

'Very nice cabin and enjoyed the sound of the creek behind it. The owner was top notch in his communication with us.'

'This cottage is absolutely precious! From the morning and evening deer sightings in the yard to the cleanliness and comfort of the interior, beds, and lounging/ den area it was nearly perfect. Hostess Carri has thought of everything to make this a delightful stay for anyone wanting to visit the area and to attend New River Gorge. AND it is pet-friendly! The trailhead to our chosen hiking trail was nearly within walking distance! Should we ever revisit the area we will most definitely return to...

'The minute my friend and I walked into this cottage, we wanted to call it home. The place was clean and had every little thing you could imagine needing or forgot to bring. Kimmy had these little personalized notes and all sorts of local menues and activity recommendations if you didnt know what was available. And the deer! We just sat on the porch while they grazed right there in the yard. When I return to WV I plan to reserve this place again.'

'Accessible via steps or nice ramp. The cottage was very clean, The coffee bar was very nice with multiple choices for coffee and tea. We enjoyed coffee outside on the porch. I would stay here again. The host was responsive to messages and easy to contact. Nice place to stay.'

'Great location - close to NRG and hiking. Plenty of space. Perfect for us to meet up with our adult children for a week of vacation.'

'It was a peaceful and quiet place. Very clean and tidy. Has it's own driveway to park. The host was amazing, nice and very responsive.'

'Located in quiet area, clean with necessary appliances. Truly enjoyed our stay. Even got to pet horses and goats that are on the owners property. Would stay again when in area.'

'RENTER BEWARE, 6 LARGE DOGS ACROSS THE STREET THAT BARK ALL NIGHT AND EARLY MORNING. Hostess Ashley was terrible, waited 6 hours for answer that we had on using the garage and then her response did not include how to access the garage. We had planned a 4 night stay and after the first night with no sleep because of the dogs across the street barking from midnight to 2 am and then again at 5 am, we decided to leave . Told Ashley the problem and again did not hear back for hours from her. Asked...

'Beautiful little cottage! We absolutely loved the decor and the historic artifacts with accompanying literature! Fav part by far is the bunkbeds and LED lighting with historic copies of newspaper articles. Very close to town! We would definitely return!'

'Absolutely loved this place! So well cared for and decorated. The property with the fire pit and the axe-throwing was a perfect way to end our hike day. Jessie was very quick to answer any questions--we would definitely come back!'
