« Excellent cant say anymore than that... beautiful cottages that were furnished and kitted to the highest standard.. amazing views and ideally located between the Trossachs, Stirling and Glasgow... highly recommended »

« We comprised a group of 6 adults and 3 young children and this house was ideal. It has lots of space, big common areas and a fabulous kitchen for cooking in. The children loved the fact that there are two staircases! The bedrooms are plentiful and comfortable with nice bedding. There are plenty of bathrooms too. The house is tastefully decorated and furnished.Our vacation was in February 2025 so not great weather but that didn't spoil our trip; there are plenty of nearby activities. ...

« Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed . »

« Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le gîte est magnifique, très bien situé pour découvrir la région du Loch Lomond . Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et se sont rendus très disponibles pour nous donner toutes les indications. Le gîte est excellemment bien équipé, on se croirait à la maison.... Nous avons également très apprécié le panier d'accueil . C'est un hébergement fortement recommandé et si nous en avons l'occasion nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner. »

« What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. »

« We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family. »

« Dave and Rosie were phenomenal hosts. They were friendly, informative and responsive to requests. They are knowledgeable about the local area,and gave great dining and recreation tips. « What an amazing property! Obviously, the views are incredible and the photographs in the listing, as good as they are, really don’t do it justice. The property is well distanced from other properties and feels private and well equipped for cooking at home. There are plenty of places to visit nearby but after touring all of both the east and west coast the best view is probably from the Heron cottage. After thinking long and hard about how to make this place even better, the only thing is to have...

« Barn was lovely. Very clean had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. Hosts were lovely and provided amazing welcome back for us. Location was lovely and peaceful. Lots DVD books games and blankets in the barn. Had lovely fire although weather was mild so we didnt need to use. Would highly recommend »
