'This cozy cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed. The location within Yosemite was the perfect place to be for everything we wanted to see and do. We would definitely stay there again.'

'We loved the house and everything about it. It was great being inside the park and not waiting in line to get in. We loved being so close to the river and the Chilnualna Falls trailhead is very close to the house and a great trail. Overall, a really great place enjoyed by everyone in our party.'

'We liked being on top of the hill with no neighbors. The house is very dated but clean. The bathrooms could use some updating. The furnace would not stay on but maintenance was called and hopefully it will be working for the next guest. Being inside the park was a plus.'

'Really wonderful property and we had an absolutely fantastic stay. It’s a spacious place with a well appointed kitchen and a great deck to hang out on. I loved the proximity to Chilnaulna Falls, Mariposa Grove, and the Wawona hotel where we dined a couple times. Yosemite Valley is about an hours drive but being inside the gate you don’t have to worry about a line to get into the park, so that’s nice too. 'We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great.'

'Love Yosemite but not the crowds? I get to the park 2-3 times a year, for 25 years now. Foresta is a gem, well off the beaten path for most visitors - but 15 minutes from the valley. Quiet! Wonderful hikes, literally outside your door. Foresta Falls are about 20 minutes away, and they'd be the centerpiece of a park anyplace other than Yosemite. 'Loved the visit to this cabin in Redwood Village. Very peaceful and at night the sound of crickets and the nearby waterfall was perfectly soothing. Little store close by, and the Wawona hotel is only 5-10 mins away if you want to dine out. Drive to the valley is about an hour but it's a lovely drive. Overall, this was a very comfy and enjoyable place to stay.'

'We enjoyed our stay! The home was well maintained and plenty of space. The location inside Yosemite saved time driving. The Wawona area has a store and gas station near the cabin. Close to Mariposa grove and the Grizzly Giant Tree. A little longer ride, about 20 miles to the tunnel view of Yosemite Valley. Overall experience was excellent!'

'Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our main problem was with communication with the manager of the property. We apparently were supposed to receive check-in instructions via email which we never did. I reached out to the contact phone number the day of arrival and left a voicemail but never heard back. We arrived approximately 9pm on our check-in date and fortunately the back door had been left unlocked, so we went on it. The next day we found a "registration" office, and learned we should have...

'Be prepared to check in with Redwoods Yosemite Management prior to occupying cabin. That wasn't indicated in our VRBO instructions. Luckily, we chose to stop by a nearby management office to use their phone(due to no cell reception), & discovered that was the procedure to check in. Had we arrived 1 hour later, we would have been unaware of the "after hours check in procedures" Otherwise, our accommodations were perfect & would gladly stay again.'

'Overall we had a great time. Location to the parks were great, check in was easy and we liked sitting on the deck taking in the nature around us. We did think that the cabin could use some updates including a new mattress.'

'We stayed for 3 days and needed more but enjoyed the limited time we had. The cabin was comfortable and clean and the neighborhood was quiet. The office personnel were very pleasant.'

'Google Maps worked well for us. The place was very clean. Check-in was pretty easy. Wonderful neighborhood. There is a small grocery store nearby that saved us a trip outside the park. The only issue was that AC would not work, it got hot inside the property in the evening and at night. We just opened some windows and handled the heat.'
