'The hotel offers a great deal if you wnt to stay very central in the Shiga Kogen ski resort. The staff is very accomodating. Not everybody speaks fluent english, but the try their best… There is a free pool table, communal hot bath (men and women seperate) and ski locker for the use of the guests. Free toiletries can be collected from reception. The rooms are not cleaned (we stayed there for six nights), only upon request. When we entered the room, it was well cleaned though. 'Redelijk hotel, maar skigebied is klein. Het ontbijt is beperkt in keuzes en het aanvullen matig. Het diner is van goede kwaliteit en de menu's uitstekend. De kamer werd niet standaard schoongemaakt en nieuwe handdoeken moesten we vragen. 7 nachten verbleven. Helaas had het hotel geen bar of andere verblijfsruimte.'

'Great place near ski lifts. Restaurants and bars all walking distance. Super friendly staff. Run by Australians. If you are looking for Japanese culture don’t go here. I would definitely recommend. For kids also great, lots of activities in the hotel. Small bar with good (western) food. Wifi is pretty bad! Super soft comfy beds. Bathrooms are not Japanese superclean, but acceptable. They have a shuttle bus to take you from station Nagano and back. '

'The young owners of this property are very sweet, kind and really try to be helpful. They seemed that had not quite got the hang of being proprietors, but they are very likable. Compared to other places we stayed cluttered with not quite the same and amenities. The owner was very helpful when we got stuck in snow bank during a snowstorm via messages.
