'Prima hotel met zeer ruime kamers. Niet het nieuwste van het nieuwste maar prima geschikt voor 3 of meer dagen. In deze kamer wel een oud springveren matras en wiebelig bed. uitstekend restaurant, prima service en ruim assortiment bier aan de bar. Top verblijf in de buurt van het Lakedistrict. binnenplaats met ruime parkeer gelegenheid ook voor de motor.(Wifi kan beter, slecht ontvangst in de kamer)'

'We stayed for 1 night in June. We were originally allocated a room on the ground floor near the bar area, which under normal circumstances would have been fine, the room itself was very nice. However, we have a child undergoing cancer treatment and she would not have settled. Paul, who I believe to be the owner manager, was very accommodating and went to great lengths to ensure we could have a lovely stay at this hotel. 'Booked a double room but got a room with 3 single beds. Not the end of the world but not what I booked. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was really thin, when you sat on it you were basically sat on the bed base and when you laid on the bed you could feel the springs in your back and side. The walls were wafer thin, you can hear the tap running and toilet etc from the room next door. Also the water in the bathroom made a right racket when you ran the tap, shower or flushed the toilet. 'An excellent place for touring the lakes and the coast, easy to get to. Spoilt being a Sykes site as they go above and beyond to make it perfect with all you need for a memorable holiday. Many thanks for a very clean and comfortable stay, will recommend.'
