Red Roof Inn-accommodaties in Wharton State Forest

'The room was not clean, stains on the ceiling and wall. Fan light had lots of bugs and dust, you could see it hadn't been cleaned in some time. There was a sheet but no blankets. When we asked for bedding we were told there wasn't any. They did find a blanket with cigarette holes and stains. The latch lock for the door was missing as well. Not removed it looked to be torn off. And I can go on.'

'We had a nice spacious room on the ground floor. The room itself was clean and comfortabele with a small fridge and micro wave. Unfortunately for us the walls and ceilings are very thin and the couple in the room next to us or above us had sex three times! That leaves a bad taste. There are a few restaurants in the Neighbourhood. So for one night just passing through it is a very nice low budget hotel.'

'Friendly staff'

'Non smoking room was smoke smell. Outside my window broken down air conditioner units. All night drug activity and fighting. Stayed on 2nd floor with people screaming in hallway. Went to room on Sunday pretty much a swat team kicking a guy out of 3rd floor room. Room was very old worn. We switched to another hotel due to the area and the hotel clientele. We travel a lot and this was a horrible experience. Just seeing police and drug addicts outside enough for us.'

'If hole in bathroom door. 6 small holes in dresser. 4 of 5 lightbulbs in bathroom were burned out. I will never stay in a Red Roof again!'
