'We booked 2 rooms for nearby Amherst College graduation. The hotel worked out perfectly (although we didn't get to try out the famous dining halls as they were already closed for the year), staff were always nice, the onsite parking at $6 was convenient and we were constantly amazed at how fast the elevators were. 'Main problem I had was the people staying up stairs over Me was the stomping when walked all night. Had problem sleeping with me noise. I even went up stairs and asked if they could normal and the answer I got waz to mind my own business. When I come back I want a third floor room.'

'The best thing about this property is the location, meaning it’s close to Smith College and a nice walk to downtown (if you don’t mind a relatively long hilly walk, which I like). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The negatives were a somewhat absent and disinterested staff, a lingering smell (unpleasant) throughout the hotel (I opened the windows in our room to alleviate the smell), and the overall tired look of the facility - cracks in the ceiling, peeling...

'I was confused by the lights. Sometimes I could turn on just those I needed and other times I had to push a wall button and all the lights came on and I couldn't choose just the ones I needed.'
