The exterior photo differed from the actual house, which caused brief confusion, but everything inside met expectations. Built in 1838, the home has charming quirks like uneven floors and steep stairs, which added character and were manageable—even for my mother who uses a cane. « Someday when I build my dream home in the mountains, THIS is the home I will build. Everything is immaculate, thoughtful, very comfortable, and the views....well, let's put it this way: it made it difficult to tear yourself away from the breakfast table to head to the mountain for skiing! We were 5 adults staying for a long weekend cooking wonderful meals in the gourmet chef's kitchen, watching hours of football after skiing first thing in the morning.
