'We stayed in February 2026 for our annual girls trip (year 17!) and this place was everything we hoped for. The location is perfect, and check-in and check-out were seamless.Ben was incredible — he kept the grounds looking great, built the fire pit for us, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire stay. The property is just a 1-minute drive or a 5-minute bike ride to a gorgeous, secluded beach, and about a 20-minute drive to nearby restaurants. 'Hosts Clayton and Heather and their housekeeper Keisha were all very nice and welcoming! The Charming Cottage has had a recent renovation and clearly the kitchen, bathroom, sliders, furnishings, appliances, exterior etc. all seem brand new. While the beach and downtown are close and technically walkable, I found prior reviews overstated the proximity and feel as though renting a car during your stay would enhance your stay. '
