'The check in was quick and the staff professional. The room had everything needed for a quiet night sleep and for work - fast WiFi, enough power outlets in the right places. Functional bathroom with enough warm water in the shower.'

'Unfortunately this was our first VRBO stay that was unsatisfactory. The check in process was confusing but fortunately we had a friend who spoke Spanish and could translate for us. The location was great but it was the only thing that was accurate about this property. We checked in on Monday night and hoped for a hot shower. There was no hot water. In addition there were multiple items that were not working including one whole sink in the double bathroom and only the left handle on the other...

'The apartment is large and clean and well appointed. Elevator access. Location is in a small square across the river from the old town. Not in the old town as indicated on the VRBO map. Just a few minutes walk across the old bridge to the church and the market. Limited parking in Bilbao. I used the train station - expensive, and dodgey. The immediate area up from San Fransisko street is a bit dodgey. Exercise caution when passing through this area.'

'We really enjoyed how much light and space we had at this flat! The four of us were able to relax comfortably in the living room. The view of the plaza was gorgeous, especially when the tree was lit up at night. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great and the kitchen was well appointed.
