'Jardín Entre Montañas was one of our most memorable stays in Costa Rica. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can feel the care and pride they have put into everything. The cabins are very cute, simple, and spotlessly clean—clearly built with love by the family themselves. It feels personal and genuine, not commercial. The gardens are beautiful, peaceful, and private. They also gave us a night tour where we saw tree frogs and birds, which was a highlight. Breakfast...

'Heerlijk huisje in het groen. Door de begroeiing voelt het heel privé. Grote ruimte, met goed uitgeruste keuken. Hele fijne plek om met kinderen te verblijven. Lees: zwembad en trampoline! Ik vergat bij uitchecken mijn Ipad en deze werd keurig enkele dagen later bij ons hotel in San José bezorgd!'

'Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. 'Our cottage was clean and well organized. It had everything we needed as a family with a nice outdoor table to eat at and a hammock to relax in. The setting was lovely on a well-maintained property backing right onto a piece of jungle. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the balcony. There was a bbq area available which was a nice bonus. Communications with the host were quick and easy. Thank-you, we would come back again.'
